Privacy Policy

Gallra is operated by Bulut T. Guney, an individual based in Turkey. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else handles it. The short version: we keep what you write so we can sort it for you, and nothing else is done with it.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and a password (stored hashed by our backend provider).
• What you capture — your sparks, the chains and to-dos you keep, and the reports generated from them.
• Plan state — which plan you're on, when your sparks were last sorted, and sort-now credits used.
• Billing records — a subscription and customer id from Paddle. We never see or store your card details.

We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for: store your sparks, sort them into themes, propose chains, produce your reports, and apply your plan. We rely on the performance of our contract with you as the legal basis. We email you only about your account and billing.

Who processes it

• Appwrite (Frankfurt, Germany) hosts the database, sign-in and the functions that run Gallra.
• OpenRouter routes the text of your sparks to a language model (currently Google Gemini) to sort them, and to an embedding model (currently OpenAI) to compare them. They receive spark text only, not your email address.
• Paddle processes payments as Merchant of Record and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, and it is not used to train models.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and everything you captured within 30 days. Billing records that tax law requires us to keep are retained for as long as it requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@gallra.dev. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app first.
